Supported Living
was created in June of 2003 because we saw a need for people who wanted to move from their group home, parents home, or just wanted their own individually-designed living situation. Once housing is secured, OFI provides a wide range of

supports and services to the individual(s) living there.
  • An Independent Living model providing support for individuals 18 years of age and older.
  • Provides assistance in putting together a quality of life plan.
  • Provide support in identifying appropriate housing in Marin County .
  • Assists in applying for subsidized housing.
  • Individualized support with applying for, obtaining, and maintaining a home.
  • Individualized training and support in all areas of daily home life.
  • Referrals to appropriate community resources.
  • Primarily funded by the Department of Developmental Services via the Golden Gate Regional Center system.
